たくさんオーダーキッチンの会社がある中で、弊社をお選びいただいた理由をお聞かせいただけますか？
S様：
お料理が好きだった事から、キッチンはオーダーで作りたいという思いがありました。
ちょうど8年前に築40年のマンションをリフォームする事になり、もともと知り合いであった山根さんにお願いました。
そのキッチンが他にはないデザインでとてもお気に入りで。
今回も山根さんにお願いすることにしました。
(以前手掛けた家は、キッチンが決め手となって買い手の方が決まったようです！）
Madre:
Among the many companies offering custom kitchens, may we ask what led you to choose Madre?
Mrs. S:
Because I’ve always loved cooking, I knew I wanted to create a custom kitchen.
Eight years ago, when I decided to renovate my 40-year-old condominium, I asked Ms. Yamane—whom I already knew personally—to design it for me.
That kitchen had such a unique design, unlike any other, and I absolutely loved it. So, for this project, I once again asked Ms. Yamane.
(In fact, when I sold that previous home, it seems the kitchen was the deciding factor for the buyer!)
Madre：
打合せはどのような感じで進みましたか？
S様：
今回キッチンだけではなく、LDK・寝室の家具のコーディネートもお願いしたんですが、山根さんも、設計担当の阿部さんもとても親身に考えて下さいました。
キッチンはもちろんですが、寝室に設置するテレビのサイズまで数パターンのシュミレーションをしてアドバイスを頂きありがたかったです。
丁寧に打合せを重ねてもらったなという印象です。
1回1回の打合せが楽しくて…思い返せばどれも本当にいい思い出です。
Madre:
How did the design meetings progress?
Mrs. S:
This time, I asked not only for the kitchen but also for the coordination of furniture for the living-dining-kitchen area and the bedroom. Both Ms. Yamane and Mr. Abe, who handled the design, were so thoughtful and attentive.
Of course, the kitchen was a focus, but they even simulated several different television sizes for the bedroom and advised me on the best choice, which I greatly appreciated.
Overall, my impression is that the meetings were conducted with great care. Each meeting was enjoyable—and looking back, every one of them has become a wonderful memory.
Madre：
キッチンでどうしても譲れなかった点と、こだわった部分を教えてください。
S様：
とにかく生活感を出したくなかったので、既存の冷蔵庫を対面に隠して設置するアイデアを提案してもらって満足しています。
また物が多い方だと思うので、収納スペースを出来る限りたくさん取っていただきました。
限られたスペースの中で生活家電は全て隠しつつ、Mieleの食洗機にオーブン、さらにはエスプレッソマシンまでビルトインしてもらったのに、収納量も十分確保出来て正直驚きました！！
Madre:
Which aspects of the kitchen were non-negotiable, and what details were most important to you?
Mrs. S:
I absolutely did not want the space to feel cluttered. Madre suggested the idea of hiding my existing refrigerator on the opposite side of the kitchen, which worked perfectly.
Since I own quite a lot of things, maximizing storage was essential. Within the limited space, they managed to conceal all the household appliances while also building in a Miele dishwasher, oven, and even an espresso machine—yet still secured ample storage capacity. Honestly, I was amazed!
Madre：
ここはこうすれば良かったという点があれば教えてください。
S様：
特に何もないですが、敢えて一つあげるとしたら水栓のデザインですかね。
本当はオシャレな水栓にしたかったのですが、タッチレス水栓が必須だったので選択肢が少なかったのが残念でした。
また海外製のものは、特にマンションの場合は水量と水圧が無いと設置が難しいのだと教えていただきました。
Madre:
Were there any points you wish had been handled differently?
Mrs. S:
Not really. If I had to name one thing, it would be the faucet design.
I wanted something stylish, but because a touchless faucet was a must, the options were limited. That was a bit disappointing.
I also learned that many overseas models are difficult to install in condominiums, as sufficient water volume and pressure are required.
Madre：
キッチンの家族や周りの方からの評判はいかがですか？
来る方来る方に「モデルルームみたいだね」と言ってもらえます（笑）。
S様：
Mieleのビルトインエスプレッソマシーンは手軽に美味しいコーヒーが出来て毎日使っています。
友人にも好評です！
Madre:
How has your kitchen been received by family and friends?
Mrs. S:
Everyone who visits says, “It looks like a model room!” (laughs).
The built-in Miele espresso machine has been wonderful—I use it every day to make delicious coffee, and it’s a big hit with my friends too.
