O様：
モダンリビングを初めて購入した時にMadreさんを知って、その後InstagramでN邸の洗面を見て「絶対この洗面をつけたい！」と思い、ネットで調べて問い合わせをしたのがきっかけです。
モダンリビングさんのおかげで、Madreの存在を知ることができました！
Madre:
Among the many kitchen makers available, may we ask what made you choose Madre?
Mrs. O:
I first learned about Madre when I bought Modern Living magazine. Later, I saw the bathroom design of the N Residence on Instagram and thought, “I absolutely want this vanity in my home!” That’s what led me to research Madre online and make an inquiry.
Thanks to Modern Living, I was able to discover Madre!

キッチンのご家族や周りの方からの評判はいかがですか？
O様：
ママ友や親戚に、「わー！すごい素敵～！」と言われます！
まだまだ、キッチンをオーダーできることを知っている人が少なくて、「キッチンってこんなにカスタムできるの？」「どうなっているの？」と、みんな開けたり閉めたり、興味津々です。
あとは、照明の使い方が素敵と言われます。
キッチンがみんなで囲えるくらい広いので、みんな長く居てくれますし、キッチンが家の中心になっていると思います。
Madre:
How has your kitchen been received by family and friends?
Mrs. O:
My friends and relatives always say, “Wow, it’s beautiful!”
Not many people know that kitchens can be custom-made, so they’re fascinated—asking things like, “Can kitchens really be customized this much?” and opening and closing the storage in amazement.
I’ve also been complimented on how beautifully the lighting is used.
Since the kitchen is large enough for everyone to gather around, it has naturally become the center of our home, where people love to stay.
Madre：
打ち合わせはどのような感じで進みましたか？
O様：
ショールームの予約をして山根さんにお会いし、その人柄の良さと話しやすさで当日のうちにMadreさんにお願いしたいと思いました。
その当時は、建築を建築家にお願いしようか、ハウスメーカーさんにお願いしようか悩んでいました。
結果、間取りの良さで建築家(アーキプレイスさん)にお願いしたのですが、そういった悩みにも山根さんがアドバイスしてくださり、一歩踏み出すことができました。
ショールームに伺った時に、洗面台だけではなくキッチンもオーダーできることを知ったんです。
Madre:
How did the design meetings progress?
Mrs. O:
I scheduled a showroom visit and met Ms. Yamane. Her warmth and easygoing personality made me decide that very day to go with Madre.
At the time, I was debating whether to work with an architect or a housing manufacturer for the build. In the end, we chose Architect Place for the floor plan, but Ms. Yamane’s advice helped me take that step forward.
It was also at the showroom that I learned I could order not just the vanity but also the kitchen itself.
Madre：
キッチンでどうしても譲れなかったことや、こだわった部分はどこですか？
O様：
掃除のしやすさです！セラミックは、一拭きで綺麗になるし、強い。素晴らしい素材だと思います！
あと、ミーレの食洗機。やはり、今回ミーレを入れて本当によかったです。大容量で調理器具まで全て入るので、洗い物が残らずとても助かっています。
冷蔵庫は国産だとステンレス仕上げの冷蔵庫がなく、リープヘルの2ドアタイプの冷蔵庫にして、デザインはもちろんドアも軽くて、とても使い易く気に入っています。
オーダーなので、扉の色も部屋と合わせて考えることができました。それと、大家族なので、収納の多さは外せませんでした。
家電は隠したいと思っていたので、隠せて大変満足しています！
Madre:
Which aspects of the kitchen were non-negotiable, and what details were most important to you?
Mrs. O:
Ease of cleaning was my top priority. Ceramic is such a wonderful material—it’s strong, and it wipes clean with a single stroke.
Another key point was the Miele dishwasher. Including it was absolutely the right choice. Its large capacity means even cooking utensils go in, leaving nothing behind to wash by hand.
For the refrigerator, we wanted a stainless-steel finish, which Japanese brands didn’t offer. We chose a two-door Liebherr, and not only does it look great, but the doors are light and easy to use—we love it.
Because it was custom, we could also coordinate the door colors with the room. And since we’re a large family, abundant storage was essential. I wanted to keep appliances hidden, and Madre made that possible. I’m very satisfied.
Madre：
ここはこうすれば良かったという点があれば、教えてください。
O様：
考えてみても、本当にないです！
強いていうなら、背面の収納の上部に間接照明をつけたので、上部の掃除がしにくいかな、と思うくらいです。
ただ、自分で間接照明を優先したので後悔はありません。今はお気に入りのポイントです！
Madre:
Is there anything you wish had been done differently?
Mrs. O:
Honestly, no.
If I had to name something, it would be that the indirect lighting above the back cabinetry makes it a little tricky to clean on top. But since I prioritized having the lighting, I don’t regret it at all—in fact, it’s now one of my favorite features.
Madre：
これからキッチンを作る方におすすめしたい点があれば教えてください。
O様：
キッチンがいつも綺麗でいられるのと、掃除のしやすさですね。素材は気にした方がいいと思います。
あとは、どこに何を収納するのか、計画してから作ると、住んだ時にすごく使いやすいです。
動線も考えておくと、スムーズに動けます。
前のキッチンはクローズキッチンだったのですが、オープンだと作業をしながら子どもたちともコミュニケーションが取れます。料理をする隣で子どもがダイニングテーブルで勉強していたりします。
間接照明は、どんなに明るくてもつけてしまうくらいお気に入りです。Madreさんのキッチンを入れて、キッチンにいることが楽しく、料理もとても楽しくなりました！
Madre:
What advice would you give to those planning a kitchen?
Mrs. O:
Keep it easy to clean and choose materials that support that. Plan where everything will be stored in advance, and once you move in, the kitchen will be so much more user-friendly.
Also think about flow—it makes movement so much smoother. My previous kitchen was a closed type, but with an open plan, I can communicate with my children while cooking. Sometimes they do homework at the dining table right beside me.
I love the indirect lighting so much that I turn it on even when the room is already bright. Having a Madre kitchen makes me enjoy being in the kitchen, and cooking has become a real joy.
