Responding to the request to enjoy kitchen work at the sink while taking in the beautiful view, we placed the cooking range on the island and the sink along the window side. To keep the sight lines open from the dining area, the ventilation system is a downdraft type. Appliances such as the microwave, rice cooker, and toaster are neatly stored away in concealed cabinetry on the right.
